Air India Announces Nonstop Toronto–Mumbai Service Launching June 2026

Air India confirmed on February 5, 2026 that it will launch nonstop service between Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International (BOM) on June 15, 2026. The route will operate 4× weekly and becomes the first nonstop air service between Canada and Mumbai — historically a significant gap given Mumbai's large diaspora population across Ontario.

Advance economy fares on the new service for launch month (June 2026) are available from CAD $1,100–$1,350 round trip — broadly similar to current one-stop prices. Business class launch fares are running CAD $3,200–$3,800 round trip for June departures.
